Make a Difference

What your School can do:

• Register to become a Fair trade School. Get all the support, resources and ideas you'll need to become an officially recognized Fairtrade School here.
  
• Get support. Contact us or organisations like SCIAF to get advice and to find out about school speakers, workshops and resources.
  
• Raise awareness. Organize Fair Trade events, shows and stalls at parents nights, school shows and events as well as at assemblies.
  
• Get in touch with your Local Authority. Ask them about their commitment to Fair Trade and about their plans to introduce Fairtrade products into school vending machines, canteens and fruit schemes
  
• Get your local business partners on board. Ask them to sign up to the 'What your company can do' targets.
  
• Join the movement. Get pupils in your school involved. Give them a chance to contribute effectively to the campaign to make Scotland a Fair trade Nation. Sign up online and give them a chance to make their voices heard.
